Robin Schwarz

Hello there, I'm Robin - a Physics student at the University of Zurich in Switzerland. I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Physics with a Minor in Astrophysics.

My path leading me here is a bit unusual and not at all straightforward. I first trained as a Design Engineer for 4 years, then completed a Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering majoring in Mechatronics and Robotics at ZHAW before deciding on Physics. I'm interested in the experimental side of physics and like to try out experiments and ideas to understand a topic better - and honestly, it's the coolest thing I can imagine working in. Although not at all planned, it turned out to be a sensible combination of skills and experiences, and one I wouldn't trade for a straighter path.
